It is an open event, organised by the European Commission and the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union: citizens can join science community members, policymakers, and fellow ICT-enthusiasts to discuss the future in a digital Europe.
ICT 2018 will have four main components converging around the theme Imagine Digital – Connect Europe: Conference, Exhibition, Networking opportunities and Innovation and Startups forum.
The Mont-Blanc 3 and Mont-Blanc 2020 projects will be at booth C20 (X4 hall) in the Exhibition. Visit us to discover how the Mont-Blanc projects are actively contributing to the emergence and usage of European HPC technologies:
- We will showcase the commercial HPC hardware (Atos’ BullSequana X1310 Arm-based blade) derived from the most recent Mont-Blanc 3 prototype used for testing our hypotheses and tools.
- We will also present the software tools developped within Mont-Blanc 3 for performance analysis and evaluation, as well as some of the scientific and engineering applications assessed on the HPC platforms made available by the project, covering a wide range of domains, from materials, to combustion or aerodynamics.
- We will show how Mont-Blanc 2020 will help develop a European processor for Big Data and HPC.
