Mont-Blanc 3 final event
September 19, 2018

The third phase of the Mont-Blanc project will come to its end before the end of 2018. As the first Arm-based production HPC systems are now becoming a reality, we would like to celebrate the pioneering work done by the Mont-Blanc projects, from the initial vision back in 2011 to the recent findings of the Mont-Blanc 3 project.
We thought that the Arm Research Summit in Cambridge was the ideal place to do this. Join us on 19 September, just after the close of the Arm Research Summit for a short conference (18:00) followed by a networking buffet dinner (20:00). The conference will include insights on the Mont-Blanc project’s achievements by the 3 key partners of the project (Atos/Bull, Arm and Barcelona Supercomputing Center), as well as the point of view of a user.
The conference and buffet will take place in the heart of the historic city centre, at the Cambridge Union Society, a stunning Victorian Gothic building that is home to one of the oldest debating societies in the world.
This event is open to all HPC-enthusiasts with an interest in Arm processor usage, subject to seat availability. For security reasons, on-line registration is MANDATORY.
Note that Mont-Blanc will also be part of the Arm Research Summit, with a workshop highlighting our project’s results on 18 September (14:00-15:30).
